Apparently I’m an inspirational woman
A few weeks ago, I received an invitation to be a speaker at a virtual Inspirational Women in Literature Conference. The first thing that crossed my mind was who me? inspirational woman? I can’t speak for anyone else but I’ve never sat down once to consider whether or not I was inspirational, so I was completely blown away when I got the invitation. I could give an Oscar speech and say it was humbling that a peer thinks what I do is inspiring.
I really wanted to write about the conference before the conference took place but being a mom, time is not my friend. So here we are today! The conference had a lot of amazing women speakers and I truly was honoured to be given the opportunity to be a part of it.
About the Inspirational Women in Literature Conference
Local and international literary stars join together to bring attention to the achievements of women in literature that have and will continue to inspire women to reach for their goals through the written word, media, and coaching. The Inspirational Women in Literature Conference will their combined efforts they hope to help emerging voices in the female world of literature find a well defined sound and carve out their niche. Voices from Ireland, the UK, LA and other places will also be bringing attention to The And I Thought Ladies cause of financial and emotional abuse as well as supporting a Literary non-profit.

Whilst I don’t think of myself as inspirational (well, maybe only to my little human), all I will say that I hope you may find inspirational is that whatever life throws your way, no matter how many times it does, never give up!
