Giveaway for Yetunde: An Ode to My Mother

Hello lovely people,

It’s been about a month since I released my latest book Yetunde: An Ode to My Mother. Most of my time has been spent trying to get feedback and reviews for the book (amongst other things).

The responses I have gotten from those who have read the book have been really humbling.

I feel, as an author, I am my own worst critique. After putting down on ‘paper’ ideas from my head, I then ask myself ‘is this really any good? would anyone actually want to read this?’

Three different people that I met online have said to me that the book spoke to them; it reminded them of their own moms. I cannot think of something more humbling; that my imagination could bring out emotional responses from people.

To give more people the opportunity to see what the book is about, I am running a giveaway for Yetunde: An Ode to My Mother via my Facebook page.

Even though I say this myself, I strongly believe this book is a must read. It touches every reader in one way or another. It talks about love, it talks about loss and so much more.
