These days, everywhere I look, there’s always someone talking about the Law of Attraction and manifesting what you want. Well, today, I’ll be sharing with you HOW TO MANIFEST WEALTH USING WATER. Today’s blog post is an excerpt from my upcoming motivational and self help book with working title “A CLARION CALL FOR AFRICANS: THINGS WE CAN LEARN FROM OTHERS TO GROW OUR COMMUNITIES“.
BASIC THINGS YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
For the Law of Attraction to work for you, you need to have FAITH. Your faith does NOT need to be religious faith! But it is important that you know that The law of attraction is faith being put into action.
Without faith, you cannot manifest anything!
You see, I started manifesting things I wanted long before I ever heard of the law of attraction. As far back as I can remember during my teenage days, I used to have bad dreams almost on a daily basis. I got so fed up that I turned to my core faith. I turned to my creator, whoever or whatever HE or SHE or was. Every night, before I went to sleep, I spoke out the type of sleep I wanted – I prayed for pleasant dreams.
I found that whenever I forgot to pray, whenever I forgot to speak out the type of sleep I wanted, I didn’t get a good night’s sleep. So, I developed the habit of praying over my night’s sleep in the morning, I would pray that when I went to sleep that night, in case I fell asleep before praying, I would have a pleasant sleep.
As the author of this book, I am sure you are asking yourself what I have faith in. How can I have faith that is not religious faith? Well, I have faith in the duality of life – I believe that there’s no good without evil, no redemption without sin, no up without a down.
I also have faith in MY creator. I emphasise MY CREATOR because there are many accounts of the creation of life. Some people believe that there’s a god, some believe that there’s no god, some believe in the almighty God, some believe that God is male, some believe that God is female. I do not have the energy to take sides with any existing version, so when I focus on my life, I focus on MY GOD and MY CREATOR be it female or male.
That said, I found that my mind routinely asked me if I was sure God was male, especially when I referred to God that way in conversations. Then I started hearing rumours that claimed that all human embryos started life as female. With a little research, I found a comparative study published in 1974 in the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy titled Some biology of sexuality by M J Sherfey. The study states that:
“Geneticists have discovered that all human embryos start life as females, as do all embryos of mammals. About the 2nd month the fetal tests elaborate enough androgens to offset the maternal estrogens and maleness develops.”
So this got me thinking … could God really be female? Even if HE was FEMALE, did it really matter? Did it really make a difference? To me it doesn’t, so I simply refer to MY CREATOR.
Now that we have that out of the way, here’s HOW TO MANIFEST WEALTH USING WATER IN 3 STEPS
1) VISUALISE WHAT YOU WANT
To ensure that you get what you want, it is important that you can see that thing clearly in your mind. I have seen a lot of Law of Attraction coaches tell their followers to focus on ONE thing. I personally do not agree with this. Here’s why:
Let’s say, as a heterosexual woman, I wanted to manifest a male partner. If I followed what most Law of Attraction coaches say (that I have come across), all I would focus on is that I need a partner. I think doing this is extremely dangerous. If you do this, what if you end up with a man who is a drug addict? What if you end up with a man that uses you as a punching bag? After all, you simply wanted a man and that was what you attracted.
However, what I RECOMMEND is that you focus on ALL the details that are important to YOU alone, not what anyone else tells you is important. Consider this visualisation: I have a man, who is taller than me and looks after his health. I have a man who is ambitious but family oriented. I have a man that we can spend quality time together enjoying each other’s company whilst growing our empire. He’s calm and patient, he’s understanding and tolerant. With him I feel protected. I have a man whose company feels like I am at home. I have a man that I would grow old with together, we are attracted to each other physically, emotionally and mentally and we have a great sex life. With me, my man feels love and supported. With me, my man can face anything life throws at him.
TO-DO: Now, YOU take a piece of paper and write down everything you have visualised for the thing that YOU want.
Make sure you answer this question: What makes you deserving of the things that you want? Do you want money and wealth to oppress your neighbours? Do you want a partner to use as a punching bag?
Example prayer to manifest wealth:
My God, my Creator, I give you thanks because by your grace I have abundance. I have abundant wealth, abundant joy, abundant happiness, abundant peace of mind. I give you thanks because money flows to me from all directions, money flows to me in expected and unexpected ways. I have more money than I need. My Creator, because of your grace, I am able to look after and provide for my family, I am able to help those less fortunate than me. My Creator, I thank you for using me as your instrument of goodwill and using me to be a blessing to others. My creator, because of your grace, I do not lack, I do not beg, I am prosperous, I am fruitful, I am successful. Because of your grace, every business I lay my hands on is successful. I am a successful author, I am a successful blogger, I am a successful podcaster, I am a successful freelancer.
Do YOU want wealth that comes with sadness or do you want wealth that comes with peace of mind?
Now, I imagine that you may be asking yourself what makes me qualified to teach you HOW TO MANIFEST WEALTH when I am not a billionaire. Well, the answer is simple, I have no desire to be stupidly rich. I desire peace of mind, laughter, joy, love and happiness first. I want sufficient wealth to provide for my family and loved ones and to leave a heritage for my descendants. I have no desire to be the richest woman in the world.
The strategies I am sharing in this book are the strategies that I use to continue to manifest the things that I want in MY life.
2) LETTING GO OF DEAD WEIGHT
Whenever I have watched a video on how to manifest anything you want, they say things like you should detach from the thing you want to manifest. I struggled with this at first, then the solution just hit me.
Think of a cup … Once a cup is full, no matter how much you pour into that cup, the cup can’t hold more than its capacity. Thus, to attract new things into your life, what you need to do first of all, is let go of the things you no longer need.
Here, I’m going to share with you a ritual that I do that works for me. The ritual is a cleansing ritual and it is two fold – myself as an individual, my home as my abode.
Cleansing yourself
For you to attract new things into your life, you need to let go of the things that no longer serve a purpose in your life. To do this, you need to:
Prepare a cleansing bath – in a bucket of water, add in some sea salt or pink himalayan salt. Whilst using your middle finger to mix in the salt, PRAY. Pray that as you bathe with the water, all your heart’s desires are granted.
Have your cleansing bath – after having your bath/shower as normal, it’s time to have your cleansing bath. You speak life into your life. Using whatever you believe in, pray that every negativity in your life is washed away, pray that all your sins and trespasses are washed away. Pray for goodness and mercy to fill your life to fill up the newly created voids in your life. Pray that positivity fills your life. Any and every sickness in your life should be washed away: physical sickness, mental sickness, emotional sickness, spiritual sickness, should all be washed away from your life. It is important you use a bucket of water rather than filling up your bath tub. You don’t want to pour water filled with the negative things you are trying to get rid of over your body.
Example prayer:
My Lord, my God, my Creator, as I wash myself today, all negativity in my life is washed away. As I wash myself today, all my sins and trespasses are washed away. As I wash myself today, I wash away anything and everything that causes me ill health, I wash away anything and everything that causes me unhappiness. From this moment henceforth, my life is filled with positivity, my life is filled with favour, my life is filled with grace, my life is filled with mercy, my life is filled with blessings. From this moment henceforth, money is attracted to me, money chases me, money loves me. From this moment henceforth, I do not lack, I do not beg, rather, I am prosperous, I am fruitful, I am successful, I am a money magnet, every business I lay my hand on is successful, all my businesses are successful. Henceforth, I can provide everything my children need without begging, I can look after my parents in their old age as they are retired.
DO NOTE:
It is recommended that you have a cleansing bath regularly, I think once a month is a good routine. So you could have one on the first day of each month.
After having your cleansing bath, don’t dry your body with a towel, let the water on your body dry naturally. You can either dress up as normal or wear a clean dressing gown that has just been washed.
It is also recommended that you have a cleansing bath after you have sex. Any negativity in your partner should not be transferred to you. Especially if the person you had sex with is not your exclusive life partner and is not on this journey with you.
Once you do this, remove your mind from it. Don’t have doubts. The more you doubt, the more negativity surrounds you. An idle mind is the devil’s workshop, so make sure you have things to do to occupy your time and your mind. As you can see from the example prayers, manifesting wealth is NOT magic. Money won’t mysteriously appear in your hand. You are asking for opportunities to make your own money. To help you detach from what you want to manifest, read the business section of this book, so that you have a plan for your business.
Cleansing your home
Just like when you cleanse yourself, for you to attract new things into your life, you need to let go of the things that no longer serve a purpose in your life especially in your home. I think of my home as my safe space, the place where I am free to be myself and make plans for my future.
Thus, any and every negative energy in your home needs to be cleansed to allow positive things to flow into your home. You cannot manifest positive energy if your home is filled with negative energy.
I once heard that our emotions are energy in motion. So the more you get angry in your home, the more you feel desolate in your home, the more negative energy accumulates in your home that prevents positivity to enter.
So to cleanse your home, get a big bowl of water and speak into the water everything you want, just like you did with your cleansing bath water. Then you can either use your hand to sprinkle the water around the perimeter of your house. Make sure you sprinkle every nook and cranny, every wardrobe, drawer, store room. Do not leave space for negativity to hide.
If you do not want to use your hands to sprinkle the water, you can pour the water into a spray bottle.
EXAMPLE PRAYER:
My Lord, My God, My Creator, I thank you for your love, I thank you for your favour, I thank you for your grace, I thank you for your mercy, I thank you for your peace of mind, I thank you for all your blessings too numerous to count. My God, I thank you for washing away any and every negativity in my home. I thank you because by your grace my home is filled with love, my home is filled with joy, my home is filled with peace of mind. My God, I thank you because by your grace, money is attracted to my home, money has made my home its abode. My God, I give you thanks because by your grace, everyone who lives in this house lives here with happiness, we love each other, we are patient with each other, we are understanding towards each other, we are supportive of each other, we have food in abundance, we have clothes in abundance, we have peace of mind in abundance, my children have toys to play with in abundance.
Repeat your prayer several times until you have cleansed every part of your home.
There’s no set time to do this but I prefer to do it at night time after my daughter has gone to bed as there are no distractions and everywhere is quiet.
Once you cleanse yourself and your home, there’s now space for the things you want to enter your life and your home.
Symbols
As I get more in touch with myself spiritually, I was super excited to be gifted a Crescent Moon Necklace by Wolf and Gypsy. The necklace derives its meaning from the Latin term “crescent” meaning “to grow”.
Also, according to the Wolf and Gypsy website, the waning phase of a crescent moon symbolises the expulsion of negative energy and focuses on growth in both body and mind.

I think this is a very lovely symbolic gift for anyone who believes in cleansing themselves and their environment to expel any negative energy. I really cannot think of a better gift right now.
It’s such a really pretty necklace that the first thing my 6 year old did was to ask me if I could give her the necklace.
Like I mentioned before, if your life is filled with negativity, positivity has no space to enter. To put this into context, if you are shouting at someone, do you think the person would smile at you? Most likely no. If you want people to smile at you, you have to have a smile on your face. So, you attract what you are.
When I pray for wealth, I pray for wealth to look after my family and to look after those less fortunate than me. Like most Law of Attraction coaches will tell you, the Universe tests you. The Universe needs to see how deserving you are of something.
I think this is why a lot of modern religions advocate for giving alms. If you want wealth, you need to empty your cup to create space for more wealth to enter your cup. So, be a giver, help those less fortunate than you. In fact it you are able to, give some money to someone homeless. Seek someone in your community who needs help. Do this within the first 24 hours of having your cleansing bath. When giving don’t think of what you hope to receive in return. That’s conditional giving. Give freely to people who can’t tell you thank you and people who cannot do something for you in return. Your giving needs to be unconditional. Do it with a smile on your face and forget about it.
Every time you receive money, irrespective of the amount you receive, no amount is too small, give some money to someone else. EVERY single time!
Remember, you attract what you are. You need to be kind if you want to attract kindness. If you want to receive unconditionally, give unconditionally.
Now, I know from experience that it is hard to detach from the thing you want to manifest as you would find your mind wandering to it. What has worked for me is that anytime I remember what I want to manifest, instead of worrying about WHEN it would manifest, I use that time to give thanks.
My Creator, I thank you because I am wealthy, I thank you because I do not lack. I thank you because I have abundance – abundant love, abundant joy, abundant happiness, abundant peace of mind. My God, I thank you because I have more money than I need and can look after my family and myself comfortably.
Whenever my thoughts want to get the best of me and doubt wants to creep in, I command Satan, get away from me! I know that I have no business with Satan but that’s just my way of stilling the doubt that wants to creep into my mind. If you pay attention to the doubt, you start generating energy filled with doubt. Remember, you attract what you are. So if you are filled with doubt, more opportunities will present themselves for you to doubt yourself.
I have to reiterate, if you want to manifest wealth, give thanks for the wealth you have.
What I do that goes above and beyond simply trying to manifest wealth is giving thanks for something that I need money for. I speak like into that thing, I give thanks that it had already been manifested.
Depending on what your faith is:
God, I give you thanks because by your grace I attracted the money I needed to pay my rent this week and I have now transferred the money to my landlord
I give thanks to the universe for the money I attracted to pay my rent this week.
If you want to manifest love, give thanks for it.
God, I give you thanks because by your grace I have found my wife, the woman I would spend the rest of my life with and love. God I thank you because by your grace I have found the woman who is the mother of my children.
Whilst I was writing this book, I chatted with one of my Twitter followers. He struggled with finding a partner, so I asked him to visualise his ideal partner. Here’s what he told me:
I want a woman who is communicative, sweet, affectionate, attentive, slightly taller, ambitious, spontaneous, loves to cuddle, kiss. A woman who has no more than 2 kids that are grown & pretty much out of the house. A woman who loves to travel, can cook, patient. Loves music. Who enjoys being out in public but don’t mind being at home watching movies, learning how to cook a new dish, read a book. Definitely have a great sex life; who is a go with the flow but with some structural conception. Who wants to become my wife, my lifelong companion, my best of best friends. She has to be independent but not to the point of not wanting me.
A woman who loves to wear high heels and stilettos. Who can switch up sometimes and wear jeans and tennis shoes if the situation calls for.
She needs to have a job/career. A job where she’s m-f working off on weekends making at least 50k+ a year.
I would like for us to be able to have a brief decompressing conversation about our day, finances, what’s on our minds thoughts, suggestions on how we can tweak something to help us out in life, our relationship/marriage
Then I asked him:
What makes you deserving of her?
Do you want a woman that you would use as a punching bag?
Do you want a woman that you would love for the rest of your life?
His reply was:
I’m a provider, a protector. I’m loyal, honest, respectful & trustworthy. I’m able to be the man of the house and still be cognizant of how important she is to my well being. I’m a great listener and sometimes can be an over thinker and over analyze things. I work and can provide a comfortable living. I’m not a abuser of any kind
It is important that when you want to manifest something, you are clear about WHAT you want to manifest, WHY you want to manifest it and WHY you are deserving of it.
On my fridge, I have a magnetic notepad that I write the things that we need. Whenever I walk past the fridge and see my notes, I give thanks to my Creator for providing those things. Little by little, I end up wiping off the things on the list as they get manifested.
When you trust that the things you desire have been manifested, you will find that sometimes, they manifest in unexpected ways.
Before I had my daughter, I used to give freely without thinking twice about how or where I would get more money. I just knew that no matter what, I always had money.
Once I had my daughter and couldn’t return to work immediately, some how I ended up with a scarcity mindset. I found myself denying myself things because I worried about how I could afford things with no regular income. Once I entered a scarcity mindset, money kept evading me. I was always overdrawn and constantly paying overdraft fees.
However, once I started speaking life into the things I wanted, the first thing I noticed that changed was that I was no longer overdrawn. No matter how much money I spent, I had more money than I actually needed sitting in my bank account. I would calculate and calculate and simply give thanks that I had more money than I needed.
The choice to believe or not believe is really up to you!
I find that a lot of religious people doubt things like manifesting what you want, so I am going to share some religious passages that I hope would help people who are religious to understand what the Law of Attraction is about

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit (New International Version)
You attract what you are you. The human body is 70% water. So just before you go to bed, take a hold a small cup of water with both hands and pray for what you want.
If you are not sure of what or how you want to pray, you can use psalm 35 or 23 as your starting point.
Muslims, heard of a Ruqya Bath
Water {I estimate you’ll need 5-6 litres per person approximately} – ideally Zam Zam, because of the hadeeth “A food that satisfies and a cure from sickness”, and the hadeeth “The water of Zam Zam is for whatever it is drunk for.” If Zam Zam is not available, then rain water should be collected, because Allah said, “And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest” [50:9], and because the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to uncover part of his garment when it rained, and he would say, “It has just come from its Lord.” [Muslim] If rain water is not available, then regular water is fine, but effort should be made to obtain rain water where Zam Zam is not available.
At the beginning of the week, you need to do the following:
Sit down with the water and olive oil open in front of you. Read the following:
(a) al-Faatihah – seven times is best, or three if you wish
(b) al-Baqarah – once all the way through
(c) The last three surahs of the Qur’an – three times each
(d) Aayat-ul-Kursi [2:255] – seven times is best, or three if you wish
If you are unable to read al-Baqarah, then read whatever is easy for you, or ask someone to read for you if you struggle to read the Qur’an.
2. Blow {as though you are spitting but without spittle}, either at the end of each surah, or after each aayah, or whenever it is easy for you, into the water and the olive oil {You can use smaller bottles and blow in each from time to time, or in all of them after each aayah or each surah, it’s up to you. Perhaps it would be even more beneficial to read 2 litres at a time during the week, to get the most out of the reading}. When you have completed all of the reading, you are now prepared to begin the programme.
How to use:
Take two tablespoons of honey and dissolve them in a cup of the water that you have read upon. Add seven seeds of black seed and drink. Do this three times per day.
Before sleep, anoint the entire body from head to foot with the olive oil that has been read upon.
Upon waking, wash the entire body with water and soap. Then, take half a cup of the water that has been read upon and add it to a bucket or other container. Fill up the bucket with water from the tap and wash the entire body.

Bonus Point: HOW TO MANIFEST WEALTH USING SEA SALT IN YOUR WATER
When cleansing yourself, instead of using plain water you can boost (super charge) the efficacy of your cleansing by adding sea salt or pink Himalayan salt into your water.
2 Kings 2:20-22
20Bring me a new bowl,” he said, “and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. 21Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the LORD says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.'” 22And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken. New International Version
In between having your cleansing bath, you can wash your hands with sea salt and water and pray for yourself. Do not use wash your hands into a bowl and re-use the water in the bowl.
Wash out all negativity and fill your life with positivity. If you don’t have sea salt, pink Himalayan salt is also perfect to use.
Remember: Emotions is energy in motion, so you have to feel what you want. the more feelings you attach to your intentions the faster your prayers will be received. Finally, you have to sow to reap, you have to give to receive. Whenever I give alms I pray “God, may my helper not pass me by”
Cells in your body react to your psychological status, known as psycho-somatic effect. Negativity can bring down your immune system similarly positivism can boost your body. The way you dress is linked to your mood. When you dress well and you are comfortable with your dress, it improves your mood and makes you feel happy.
The law of attraction is faith being put into action
I keep repeating some things to emphasise how important they are. Give without expectations and the universe will return it to you. I remember once, someone I knew asked me to help him pay his rent. The pandemic had made getting work really difficult. I had less than £1 left in my account after paying all my bills. I was conflicted. I really wanted to help but I knew that the only way I could do so was to use my overdraft and my bank charged daily over draft fees. I knew it would take me at least one week before I got any money if I was. But I decided to give him the money using my overdraft and the next day, I received more money than I gave to him. There I was worrying about how I would refund my bank for the overdraft and pay their daily fees and boom, I didn’t have to pay any over draft fees and had extra to buy my daughter a burger.
That’s why it is important you give freely and not worry about anything else. Just have faith … what goes around, comes around.
Ask yourself, how can you show the universe that you deserve everything you are asking for?

Take note of your thoughts, be aware of what you are thinking about a situation and if it’s negative learn to counter it. Stand guard over your mind.
I’m sure you know that you can’t build a house if someone is constantly breaking it. So, you need to find out who the negative people in your life are and cut them off.
Instead of complaining, give thanks, show gratitude. Complaining doesn’t get you anywhere. Change your Why can’t I get ____ into I give thanks for _____.
Be happy about every situation including the small wins. See it as proof that you can do better. Ate healthy for a day? That’s proof that you can do better.
The art of manifestation, is the art of faith. Most Law of Attraction coaches will tell you that No action is required. However, I do not agree with this. Money needs a vessel to reach you. Manifesting what you want is NOT magic. I am an author, so I give thanks that my books are sold every day, as a blogger, I give thanks that my blog gets corporate sponsors. As a podcaster, I give thanks because my podcast gets donations from the listeners. It is important that you have a source of income, no matter what it is. That’s the reason why there’s a business section in this book. I hope that you find the business tips and lessons beneficial to you.
Then, you need to detach from your desires and not obsess over it. Remember, the minute you have doubt, the minute you start thinking if it will happen or wonder when it would happen, you start sending out negative emotions and negative energy.
Also remember that life will not give you what you want, life will give you what you deserve. No matter how long it takes, karma will find you.
Having an abundant mindset plus working SMART and working HARD equals success
I remember either reading or watching a video that talked about the “So That” test.
If you want to manifest wealth, you don’t do that simple because you want to collect lots of paper money. You have a purpose for the money you want to manifest. This is where the “So That” test comes in:
You want to become wealthy so that…
You can buy your children what they need to flourish.
So that…
Your children will grow up to reach their full potential.
By questioning your goals, you uncover your true motives. By uncovering your true motives, you realise there are alternate routes to reaching those goals.
Maybe you don’t enjoy work, and it would be more worthwhile to exchange your overtime earnings for quality time with your children. Quality time that is far more valuable to their development than a little more money.
You might also discover that you enjoy this time with your children much more than working overtime.
By applying the “So That” test, you can discover paths to your goals that you had never thought existed.
Always question your motives.
You spend a lifetime pursuing these motives, so why not a few minutes to make sure you’re going in the right direction?
“So that”… The rest is up to you.
Words hold vibrations, so it’s important we know what words to use.

Bonus Step: How to cleanse your home using incense
After years of poor sleep habits, in 2020, I discovered that incense can be used to help with sleep. The first time I burned a sandalwood incense, I slept for 7 hours straight without waking up once. That was probably the first time I could remember sleeping for so long without waking up once.
This got me to research the other amazing uses of incense. I discovered that some incense can cleanse a space of negativity. So I developed the habit of burning incense to cleanse my home of negativity. it has now formed a part of my prayer ritual. I pray over my household and anyone and everyone who comes into it. may there be no negative energies in my home. Heck, even when I get annoyed, I pray that that negative energy leaves my home.
