About Lola Scarborough

Lola Scarborough: Empowering women to love their breastsI co-own and manage Yoga Lola Studios, a health and wellness center located in League City, Texas (yogalola.com). I am a 500-hour registered yoga teacher with over 25,000 hours of teaching, and have practiced yoga and meditation for the last 20 years. I have studied yoga, health, and wellness both at home and abroad, and hold both a Bachelor’s of Arts degree and a degree in Ayurveda. I have spent thousands of hours in alternative wellness studies that also include nutrition and lifestyle factors as a part of the overall big picture of wellness. As an energy healer and life coach, I enjoy a thriving private practice at our lovely yoga studio where one and all learn the art and science of living in balance and health. I design training programs to train students in yoga and spiritual studies and in energy healing, as well as holding workshops, offering public lectures, and writing on a plethora of wellness topics. In my many years as a writer, I have produced numerous articles on health and healing for various publications. I have published some of my favorite poems as well. In my spare time, I travel the globe and have studied advanced meditation and yoga, as well as Ayurveda in multiple trips to and from India.

FIGHTING FOR OUR TITS is my first book. It has been writing itself for the last 30 years. It is a self-help book that empowers women to take their health and their breasts back into their own hands. As I’ve watched the whole breast cancer epidemic seemingly spiral out of control, I’ve become more and more determined to find a way to help all women stay healthy and keep our breasts on our chest through natural breast cancer prevention methods. Fighting for Our Tits is funny, wise, and full of little-known information related to keeping our breasts healthy, happy and whole. It is full of alternative breast health solutions that provide unique care for the breasts — like shaking them — that have been proven by science and research to send cancer running. You won’t find anything like this book out there anywhere else – it is a compilation of 30 years of holistic breast care research by a woman with an open and investigative mind, a strong education in health and yoga, and a fierce determination to end breast cancer. Together, we shall overcome!
