Book Cover Reveal Party and Book Launch!

Today, I’ll deviate slightly from the children’s books and events I normally write about. Instead, I wanted to let you all know about my book launch that’s taking place on the 31st of May.
OMG I am so excited!!
What am I launching? Well, I’m relaunching my first book, Daimby City: Night Dragon at the CUBE café in Déda. (That’s in Derby, East Midlands, in case you’ve never heard of the place. Think Birds and Thorntons.)
I’ve got so much going on! I’m going to have a raffle at my launch and I’ve been hunting for raffle prizes too! Thanks to No7, Tigerlillies, my friend Sophie’s mum and her nan, Sandra for those! The prizes are awesome! The venue, the CUBE café is very bright and pretty and thanks to them for letting me host it there!
So what else will happen on the day? Well, I’m planning to do some talking there as well. Maybe a book reading, a Q&A , signings…oh yes, how could I forget? Just relax and meet people: the best part! I can’t wait!
Actually, 31st of May is going to be a pretty interesting day. Segilola is also hosting something special too. That day, her author friend Ellie Firestone will be hosting a Book Cover Reveal Party for her, on her blog for her book Yetunde: An Ode to My Mother.
What’s even better? It’s online! That way, I’ll be able to check it out straight after my launch! I can’t wait to see it! I read and loved the book, and I’ll bet the new cover’s going to be fantastic!
The Book Cover Reveal Party is set to coincide with the release of Yetunde: An Ode to My Mother as a hardback copy the next day ie the 1st of June 2016. The ISBN 13 of the book is 9780993444616, so you can order a copy from your local bookstore, online retailer or local library.
In case you are not aware, a small proceed from the sale of Yetunde: An Ode to My Mother will go to UK charity Jigsaw4u to help with the amazing working they are doing towards helping vulnerable children. So by buying a copy of Segilola’s book, you are showing your support to this charity.
