The Importance of Networking with Ken Bator & Wilnona Marie

The Importance of Networking

Today on The Segilola Salami Show, we discuss the importance of networking for businesses and authors. Some authors may not realise this but by virtue of being an author, you are a brand and a business (unless you write as a hubby). Listen on to hear what our guests think on The Importance of Networking.

We also discuss the self published book And I Thought Divorce Was Bad by Wilnona Marie. There are some freebies up for grabs, so listen to the end (and see below) to find out more details.

the importance of networking

To summarise, here’s what was covered:
Networking is about increasing brand visibility. However, it has to be selectively done. You need to find the right networks where you can collaborate with the other members. For instance, your local chamber of commerce would be a good starting point, especially if you write non-fiction. Open mic events are also great for fiction others. What you find by attending networking events is that you are surrounded by people who share a similar interest to what you offer!
